Help is available for your Fearful Pet!
These clinics are designed for fearful dogs, to give them the opportunity to learn the social skills needed to interact with one another in a safe and non-threatening environment.
We use a combination of counter-conditioning and desensitization to create a more pleasant association with other dogs. While we do encourage the dogs they are allowed to progress at their own pace without force or punishment as either would set them back and increase the fear.
We aim for the dogs to be off leash as much as possible but based on our discretion, some or all of the dogs may need to be leashed at times. Safety and the well being of everyone involved is our top priority.
Confidence Building Clinics run for 30 mins per session on Sundays at 227 Manitou Drive in Kitchener. Each dog goes through an evaluation before being placed in a class, please contact Carrie for an evaluation.

Behaviour Evaluations
All dogs that we work with must go through an evaluation process. This includes a bringing the dog in for an evaluation and may include a questionnaire before hand.
